Vehicle locations on one map
See accessible vehicles using installed GPS devices or recorded mobile and website vehicle journeys. The fleet map brings active journeys and last-known positions together.
- Identify vehicles by their license plate and open the location context.
- See the location source and connection state, including delayed or offline reporting.
- Keep the last-known position visible when a trip ends or a tracker is paused.
- Tracking requires a configured reporting source; vehicles without a reported position have no map marker.
02
Understand the route, the timing, and the stops
Open a recorded journey to review its route points and trip details. Use Vehicle route review to bring a vehicle’s journeys together for a day, week, or month.
- Follow the route map and chronological itinerary for the selected period.
- Review trip start times, distance, duration, maximum recorded speed, and the associated vehicle and user.
- See distance and driving totals and stops, including gaps between journeys.
- Read dates and times in your selected timezone.
03
Driving logs that explain the numbers
Build a report for a month, a preset period, or a custom date range. Filter by one or more users and vehicles, then review separate driver-and-vehicle rows or a consolidated vehicle view.
- Compare distance, beginning and ending odometer readings, trips, fuel, expenses, maintenance, and costs.
- Show distances and odometer readings in clear kilometer and mile groups.
- Open the records behind a figure to inspect its trips, refuelings, expenses, maintenance, or odometer readings.
- Choose visible columns, save private filtered views, and export the current table as CSV, Excel-compatible XLS, or PDF.
04
Compare activity across the fleet
Use the Transport dashboard and vehicle directory to review fleet activity, mileage, trip totals, GPS state, and vehicle assignments. Driving-log filters help focus the comparison on the relevant people, vehicles, and dates.
- Review only users with recorded distance, include everyone, or focus on zero-distance users.
- Use saved report views for repeat checks with the same filters and columns.
- Shared vehicle-wide costs can appear as context on driver rows while fleet totals count them once per vehicle.
05
Find high-speed trips and the exact observations
Set a speed threshold to find trips with a recorded maximum above it. Open a matching trip to see the above-threshold GPS observations on the map and in a detailed list.
- Review the driver, recorded time, speed, and exact coordinates for each observation.
- Open a coordinate to inspect the position on the map.
- The filter compares recorded GPS speed with your chosen threshold; it does not determine the legal speed limit of each road.
06
Plan servicing and other vehicle deadlines
Create reminders for maintenance, tax, insurance, inspection, or a custom requirement. Choose a schedule that matches the obligation so vehicle follow-up stays visible.
- Use one-time, daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly schedules.
- Set odometer-based reminders for work due at a mileage interval.
- Keep the vehicle, reminder type, and due information together for follow-up.
07
Keep a service history for each vehicle
Record the work carried out so the next service decision has context. Track oil changes, scheduled services, tires, brakes, battery work, repairs, inspections, and other maintenance.
- Save the service title, date, odometer reading, cost, currency, and notes.
- Record the next mileage interval when relevant.
- Review previous work to understand maintenance history and the vehicle’s recorded condition.
08
Bring fuel and running costs into the picture
Keep refueling, charging, and expense records alongside the vehicle. Filter its history by period, text, and type, and review the underlying records from driving-log reports.
- Track expenses such as tolls, parking, accommodation, maintenance, and other trip costs.
- Review fuel and cost history alongside mileage and journeys.
- Maintain vehicle details and employee assignments with the appropriate team permissions.
09
Activate Vehicle Tracking as a plan add-on
Vehicle Tracking can be activated separately at a price per vehicle per billing period when offered with your plan. Choose the number of vehicles when configuring the add-on; the selected quantity determines its price and recurring charge. Check the available add-ons and arrange the reporting devices or journey source your vehicles will use.
How it works in practice
- 1
Add a vehicle, assign the relevant employees, and configure its tracking source.
- 2
Review locations, routes, and above-threshold speed observations during daily operations.
- 3
Use driving logs and service history to review costs and plan the next maintenance.
